Gull Rock, Charlestown
Gull Rock, Charlestown:
"All around Cornwall there are many small, rocky outcrops that all seem to have been given the same name, “Gull Rock”. The name is a bit of a misnomer though as this rock has a few secrets hidden by the tides that aren’t really anything to do with Gulls! When the tide is low you can walk all the way out to the surrounding rocks and climb onto Gull Rock. This particular rock was popular with smugglers and as such has a path way set close to the cliff edge that runs all the way out to the third rocky outcrop (Gull Rock in this case), the path is very well trodden and it gives a fascinating insight into Cornish History. I love the little secrets of Charlestown and it’s transformation over the many years that give it a uniqueness that’s simply inspiring. This night was a calm, still evening where the last dying moments of sunlight had cast a beautiful pink and purple hue to the slow, tumbling clouds"

PRINTED A4 on Bamboo paper 290gsm
“Bamboo is the world’s first digital fine art inkjet paper made from bamboo fibres. Bamboo represents spirituality, naturalness and resource-saving paper production. It’s particularly suitable for warm-toned colour and monochrome prints; Bamboo really highlights the sensuality of images”
I’ve chosen this particular paper for the prints because of the colour representation and subtlety in the grain. I like to use long shutter speeds for velvety smooth sea, using this Bamboo paper gives a very subtle texture give another dynamic to an already incredible scene.
FRAMED in an A3 white frame with a white mount for an A4 print.
The photo comes framed in a stylish, thin photo frame with a delicate grain texture. Fitted with a glass window and brilliant white mount. Fixings are attached to allow for wall hanging, this frame does not have a stand. All our frames are sourced and made to order in the UK.
